Our extensive garden has evolved gradually over the years and leads into an old orchard which has been planted with specimen trees and shrubs that are all now maturing.
In summer, wide paths are mown between the long grass which is intermingled with wild flowers.
High in the terraced gardens is the summer-house which is an ideal spot for observing wildlife, reading or just taking it easy and enjoying the views.
The garden also includes a large pool which is home to the rare great crested newt, and in the summer many different species of dragon-fly are to be seen. Being a member of Shropshire Wildlife, we support native species from barn owls to red kites to bumble bees.
For garden lovers, there are  numerous well-known gardens to visit in the area, including the infamous Powis Castle, half an hours drive away.
